My First Fishing Trip

GrandDaddy and GrandMomma took us out on the boat last weekend. It was my first ever boat ride, and boy was I excited about it. Every single day leading up to Sunday, I woke up and would immediately ask Mommy and Daddy if today was the day. It seemed like it took forever to get here, but it was worth the wait!

At first I was a little bit scared, because the water was really rough and we were bouncing around the boat pretty good. Mommy had a firm grip on me though, so I was safe. When we reached calmer waters, we found a good spot and started fishing. Everyone felt pretty silly underestimating my Tweety Bird fishing pole, because it caught more fish than even GrandDaddy's pole. I even reeled a fish in all by myself!

The part I really loved the best was driving the boat. GrandDaddy was pretty impressed with my skills. You should have seen how fast I was going down that lake!

I can't wait to go on the boat and go fishing again. I really had a blast! -Will-

Chattanooga, TN

Here's a few pics from our trip to Chattanooga. Mommy and Daddy and me went on this mini-vacation over the Memorial Day weekend. I had fun visiting the aquarium, riding the Incline Railway, going to the Zoo, going on a long walk through Rock City on Lookout Mountain, and taking a real life steam engine train on the Tennessee Valley Railway.

Mother's Day

Grandma came and spent the weekend with us for Mother's Day. We went shopping, had lunch, watched movies and (of course) played with my toys. Grandma let me ride on her horsey, which was about the funnest game ever. Look how much fun we had.

Eventually, her horsey got tired and we had to move on. It was fun while it lasted though. I can't wait for Grandma to come and visit again. -Will-

Happy Easter!

We celebrated Easter on Sunday. It was a great day. When I woke up, Mommy told me that the Easter bunny had left something on the porch for me. I ran out there and he had filled up my big rolling tub with all kinds of presents. (Apparently he underestimated how big all my presents were and wasn't able to fit them in the basket he bought, so he came inside the house, got my big tub and used that instead. Boy, that Easter bunny sure is resourceful.) I got some Lightning McQueen undies, a bubble blower, a spin wheel, some marshmellow Peeps and some gummy bears in my Easter tub. I dove straight in for the Peeps. They were yummy.

Sunday was also Daddy's birthday! Mommy made him a special breakfast that morning and after we had filled up on that (and Peeps) we got all dressed up and went to church.

When church was over, we headed down to Aunt Gigi's house. We ate and I got to play with all of Chad's trucks. Man, does he have a lot of neat trucks at his house! We also had an Easter egg hunt and I found a bunch of eggs. The last time I hunted eggs at the church, I wasn't that good at it, but this time, I was prepared and I hunted those eggs like an old pro. I ended up with a whole basket full of loot! I got candy and money in my eggs!

We had an awesome day hanging out with family and celebrating Easter. I was exhausted by the time we left!

Hope your day was as special as ours.

Matthew 28:5-6 And the angel answered and said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you are seeking Jesus, the crucified. He is not here, for He has been raised, even as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.

My Obsession

Mommy and Daddy bought me a new movie called "Cars" a few weeks back. Since that first day we watched the movie, we have not gone one single day without seeing it again. When I wake up in the morning, I promptly inform Mommy that I'd like to go sit on the couch and watch it. It's a great movie to eat breakfast to. I yell at the screen and cheer for Lightening and Mater while chomping down on my pancakes. It's kind of sad when we have to leave in the morning, but I know I'll get to watch the rest of the movie when we get home that afternoon. When we pull in the driveway, I get so excited that I yell out, "HOME!! CARS!!" and race inside to finish my show.

My favorite part of the movie is when Lightening and Mater go tractor tippin'. Those guys are so silly and I just laugh every time I see that part. I also really love the racing and I get so worked up when Lightening is rounding the track.

Mommy and Daddy bought me another movie last week called "Madagascar" in the hopes that we could "take a break from Cars for a while." I wasn't too keen on the idea, but I gave it a shot. I took my place on the couch, watched about 10 minutes of it, then ran to the kitchen and spoke the truth..."Mommy, I don't wike it! I wanna watch Cars!!" It really never gets old. It's a striking cinematic work, I tell ya!
